Rent a fatbike in Nallikari, Oulu and head out on your own, alone or with family and friends. A fatbike's wide, low-pressure tyres go where a normal bike can't: soft sand, snow, and in winter the frozen sea.
Opening hours
In summer (1 June–31 August) our rental shop is open daily. For the rest of the year we are open Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00–16:00. Check the calendar for a suitable time, book, and pick up your fatbike in Nallikari.
Bikes are picked up at our Nallikari Experience Centre (Nallikarinranta 10, 90510 Oulu, ground floor of the Aalto Hotel building), about 15 minutes from Oulu city centre.
The routes run through Nallikari's coastal and forest scenery. From Nallikari it is an easy ride to the trails of Meri-Toppila and Pikisaari, and in summer you can follow the terrain all the way to Letonniemi. In winter there is a maintained off-road route in Hietasaari, and when the ice is safe you can ride out onto the frozen sea. Oulu is coast: this is a landscape you will not find inland.
A fatbike has extra-wide tyres whose low pressure carries you over soft and uneven ground. Our fleet is well maintained and serviced regularly, with sizes from S to L and a children's fatbike.
