Step into the warmth of a traditional wood-heated sauna tent surrounded by the frozen coastal landscape of Northern Finland. Located in Nallikari, just a short distance from Oulu city centre, this private experience combines Finnish sauna culture, winter nature and the peaceful atmosphere of the sea.
A guide is present throughout the experience to introduce the sauna and ice swimming traditions, assist your group and help ensure that the experience runs comfortably.
The sauna is reserved for your group, allowing you to enjoy the experience together without outside participants.
Sauna, winter nature and an optional icy dip
Once the sauna is warm, you can relax and enjoy its gentle heat before stepping outside into the crisp winter air.
A maintained ice swimming area is located next to the sauna in shallow water. Entering the ice hole is always optional. Guests who prefer not to swim can still enjoy the sauna, see the ice swimming area and learn about this traditional Finnish winter activity.
You can alternate between the sauna and the outdoor winter environment at your own pace while following the guide’s instructions.
