Before departure, your guide provides clear kayaking and safety instructions to ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident. We paddle through the safe and scenic waterways of Oulu, where cultural landmarks meet coastal nature, all illuminated by the endless summer light.
Along the way, you will experience the quiet atmosphere of the late evening, the soft reflections of the sun on the water, and the unique feeling of being outdoors at a time when night never truly arrives. The delta area offers sheltered channels, small islands, and calm waterways that create ideal conditions for a relaxing and atmospheric paddle.

What if the wind surprises us in Nallikari?
No worries! We have a backup plan. If the sea conditions are windy, we will start the safari from our sheltered Mustasalmi location, just a few minutes’ walk from our main center. This allows us to enjoy calm and protected waters while still experiencing the beauty of the Midnight Sun. We will notify you separately if the starting location changes.
This public safari has no minimum number of participants, so you can join alone, with a partner, or with friends. The relaxed pace allows you to fully enjoy the scenery, take photos, and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Nordic summer night.
Price: 99 € per person
The price includes: Professional kayaking instruction, an introduction to the Midnight Sun phenomenon, kayaks, life vests, paddles, spray decks, changing facilities, secure storage for personal belongings at our Nallikari Experience Center, and access to toilet facilities.
